No experience in surveying or energy consultancy is necessary to enrol onto the Green Deal Advisor training course however existing Domestic Energy Assessors will follow a slightly different route to new entrants of the industry.

As part of the UK's commitments to reducing carbon emissions, the Government have introduced the newGreen Deal. Under the Green Deal homeowners will be able to upgrade their homes energy efficiency at no upfront cost. Instead, the cost of these measures will be taken via a charge on the customer’s energy bill. During this two day or five day course, candidates can expect to learn all of the key elements of the Green Deal, including Golden Rule calculations, occupancy assessments, issuing Green Deal Reports, giving bespoke advice and much, much more.
