Company Background
Based in Taunton and established in 2010, Somerset Solar Electric Ltd is an independent installer of photovoltaic solar systems. Our customers include St Michaels Church in Galmington and SHAL Housing in Bridgwater as well as domestic customers across Somerset and Devon. MCS Accredited, we are also members of REAL Assurance and NAPIT. We offer all of our customers a deposit protection scheme as well as guarantee insurance, through IWA.Biz.

At Somerset Solar Electric Ltd, we offer a high quality service using high quality products. We design bespoke solar systems, finding you the best panels to maximise your roof space and meet your budget.
Products and Services
Your survey is carried out by our experienced solar PV installer and not a sales man (in fact, we don’t have a sales team!), once you’ve received your quotation we then wait to hear from you – we don’t bombard you with phonecalls and emails. Should you give us the go ahead, we then ask our structural engineer to carry out load bearing calculations to confirm your roofs suitability. With so many different panel manufacturers to choose from, we obviously have some solar panels that we favour over others but should there be a specific panel you are interested in, we are more than happy to quote for it, please do not hesitate to ask!
