Company Background
Mark Richmond founded MRA in 1995 and now, with fellow Director Gill Richmond, runs the practice from The Studio in Taunton.
Education, Housing, Historic Buildings and Arts & Community projects, together with homes for private clients, form the majority of MRA’s portfolio.
Business Aims
All buildings great and small should be practical and poetic: this underpins the passion we have for architecture.
In collaboration with our clients and building users, we seek innovative design solutions. These will be responsive to the unique context of each site and careful of the environment, both local and global.
With others we make buildings that are crafted from quality materials. Our goal is to create places that will give lasting pleasure, valued now and in the future.

As Architects and Project Managers, MRA provides the full range of architectural services.
These range from preparing feasibility studies, design and the preparing of applications for planning permission and building regulations, right through to construction.
Our efficient staff team includes a wide range of skills and experience from many sectors of the construction industry.
