Company Background
In 1999, archipeleco was formed, synthesising the two aspects of Lucy's experience, that of architecture and the environment. Prior to forming the practice, Lucy worked for 13 years as an architect in both in the UK and USA. During this time, Lucy acquired a thorough knowledge of the construction process, working on projects ranging from individual houses through to large-scale commercial developments.
Business Aims
There are many ways to remedy this situation and to return to a more harmonious way of living. The first is to change our approach to using the earth's resources. Instead of the linear approach - extracting, using and discarding building materials - we need to move towards a cyclical way of thinking where we use, reuse and recycle our materials.
