Building Performance was founded in 2002 and is based in Bath with activity covering the entire UK. The company business is environmental engineering providing consultancy on thermal comfort and low energy/low carbon design , covering building thermal analysis, natural ventilation and renewable energy. Principal Director Mike Whalley is an expert in the field of building/computer modelling and uses Dynamic Simulation Modelling (DSM), Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and daylight simulation software. Clients and markets include the commercial, public and private sectors with projects ranging from large shopping centres (Westfield Shoppingtowns, Gloucester Quays) to small educational properties.
Business Aims
Building Performance will expand into the market for individual, larger domestic properties and explore the use and performance of alternative materials as domestic clients become more environmentally aware.
